President's Day

Okay, so President's Day is not our most exciting holiday. If it does stir up your interest in our two most loved Presidents I have a few books to recommend. 1776 by David McCullough does a beautiful job of detailing Washington's most amazing 12 months getting started in what would seem to be an un-winnable war. Of course, you can't stop at the the end of 1776. This book ended up drawing me into Liberty, and excellent college textbook on the American Revolution.

VOTE

Super Tuesday sure got Sacramento all riled up. I can't remember when I've seen such enthusiastic voters. Three different corners near my place in midtown had folks standing on the corner with banners proclaiming their devotion to their candidate.
